How to connect AltCoinTrader to Coinfig
Open AltCoinTrader API settings
Log in to AltCoinTrader, open Account, then API, and create a new key.
Tick View Account and Make Deposits
View Account covers your balances and trades. AltCoinTrader uses Make Deposits for reading your deposit and withdrawal history, so tick it too. Leave Trading and Make Withdrawals unticked.
Tick Savings if you used it
If you ever used AltCoinTrader Savings, tick Savings so Coinfig can see your interest. AltCoinTrader has no read-only Savings permission: a key with Savings can also move funds between your wallet and your savings account. Leave it unticked if you never used Savings.
Paste into Coinfig
In Coinfig, choose AltCoinTrader, paste the key and secret, and connect. Coinfig re-syncs your history automatically.

Known limitations
- Savings interest needs the Savings permission, which AltCoinTrader only offers together with moving funds between your wallet and savings.
- AltCoinTrader CSV exports can stop at the most recent 200 trades, so the API key gives the more complete history.
- Some legacy ZAR pairs may need manual review for the correct market price.
