Coinfig pulls your exchange and wallet history into one place, checks that nothing is missing and builds an annual crypto record in ringgit, with the working behind every line for your LHDN file.
Coinfig records your crypto disposals in Malaysian ringgit, using FIFO, with the full workings behind every line. Whether a gain is taxed depends on the facts of your own activity, so confirm your position with an adviser in Malaysia.

Build an accurate history for each tax year first. A tax adviser can then advise on the right route for past years.
An exchange export on its own misses transfers between your own wallets. Coinfig finds those gaps for you.
Get your full history and figures together before you reply, so you can answer accurately.
Hand over one report with the schedules behind every number, so they can check it instead of rebuilding it.
Connect your exchanges and wallets and Coinfig pulls in your full history for you, with nothing to type in by hand. Your transactions are kept in sync. For wallets we read the blockchain directly, which picks up movements that exported statements often leave out.
For the technically minded: we run our own archive nodes for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Cardano.
Direct, read-only API connections to the venues you actually use, local and global, plus a universal CSV importer for everything else.
Luno and Binance are among the exchanges that connect directly. Other Malaysian venues, such as Tokenize, MX Global, Sinegy and HATA, come in by CSV through the general importer, which is not yet tested against their files.
Add a wallet address and we read its history from the blockchain itself, transaction by transaction. There is no file to export.
Coinfig checks whether anything is missing from your history and shows you what to fix. You get a data completeness score from 0 to 100, so you know how far to trust your figures before you pay.
We compare everything that came into your accounts with everything that went out, coin by coin. Small gaps count for little, so a RM1 gap does not spoil a clean year.
When crypto arrives from a wallet or exchange you have not connected, we value it at the market price on the day, which is an estimate. Connect that account and we use the real figure. Your score is the lowest of the checks.
Link your exchanges, add your wallet addresses, or upload a file from an exchange we do not connect to yet.
Coinfig shows you what is missing from your history and how to fix it, before you pay.
Look over how your transactions were treated and change anything that is wrong. Every change is recorded.
Download your annual record with every disposal and the schedules behind it, ready for you or your adviser.

Everything you need to know about Coinfig and your crypto tax reporting.
Coinfig turns your exchange and wallet history into a clear record of your crypto disposals for the calendar year, in Malaysian ringgit. It uses FIFO, first in first out, and gives you downloadable, transaction-level schedules and workings.
If you hold as an investor, think of it as an annual crypto record to keep with your LHDN file. If you trade, it gives you the disposal workings behind your business income. Coinfig is a calculation and reporting tool, not tax advice, and it does not imply any endorsement by LHDN.
It depends on your facts. Malaysia has no general capital gains tax for individuals, and LHDN has not issued a Public Ruling on digital assets. Gains are taxed as income if your activity is a trade, which LHDN judges using the badges of trade, such as how often you deal, how long you hold and why you buy.
Under LHDN's current policy, investors are treated as outside the charge, and a trader's gains are business income. That is current policy and it can change. Coinfig does not decide which one you are, so confirm your position with an adviser in Malaysia.
LHDN looks at the badges of trade across your whole activity, not at one test. Frequent dealing, short holding periods, borrowing to buy and running it like a business point towards trading. Buying and holding for the long term points towards investing.
You set your status in your preferences and your report states it. If you are not sure, ask an adviser in Malaysia.
Coinfig uses FIFO, first in first out, for Malaysia. The units you acquired earliest are treated as the first ones sold. LIFO and HIFO are not offered for Malaysia.
The full working is shown behind every disposal so you can trace how each figure was reached, and the report states the method.
Your reports are in Malaysian ringgit (MYR). Every transaction is valued in ringgit at its value on the day it happened, and any price we had to estimate is marked so you can check it.
Prices for Coinfig plans are in US dollars, and you are billed in US dollars.
Luno and Binance connect directly with read-only access. Other Malaysian venues, such as Tokenize, MX Global, Sinegy and HATA, come in by CSV through the general importer.
The general importer is not yet tested against their files, so check the imported history before you rely on it.
Yes. When you connect an exchange through its API, Coinfig uses read-only access to import your transaction history. It cannot place trades or move funds.
If you prefer not to share an API key, you can also import your history by CSV.
No. Coinfig provides calculations and reports based on the data you import and the settings you choose. It does not provide personalised tax advice, and it does not imply any endorsement or approval by LHDN.
For anything unusual, such as business trading, mining or staking, consult a qualified adviser in Malaysia. You remain responsible for what you file.
